My name is Terri Cournoyer Art and I am an artist with over 10 years of experience in painting and illustration. My artwork is inspired by animals, mainly dogs. I started this portion of my art life by painting my own dogs and then branching into anthropomorphising bull terriers and painting them in antique fashions. That led to creating a bull terrier calendar and I’ve been creating a bull terrier calendar for over 10 years. My husband (long suffering and patient) convinced me to try and paint other breeds of dogs. Now I paint many other animals and birds. I have been lucky and honored to have been asked to paint memorial portraits of pets and I love doing that and giving owners a tangible picture of their beloved pet.
